Fire affects Dublin-Wicklow driving conditions

Motorists are being asked to avoid the R115 route through the Dublin-Wicklow Mountains this evening.

Motorists are being asked to avoid the R115 route through the Dublin-Wicklow Mountains this evening.

Firefighters say a gorse fire in the area is making driving conditions dangerous.

People are asked not to travel northbound from the Glencree Recreational Centre in Co Wickow towards Kilakee in Co Dublin.
