Two arrested over Loughinisland murders

A man and a woman have been arrested in connection with the murder of six men in a pub in Co Down in June, 1994.

A man and a woman have been arrested in connection with the murder of six men in a pub in Co Down in June, 1994.

The men were watching a world cup game in the pub in Loughinisland when loyalists burst in and opened fire.

The two people who have been arrested have been taken for questioning to the serious crime unit in Antrim police station.
