More than 40,000 women are to take part in the 24th mini-marathon in Dublin today.

More than 40,000 women have taken part in the 24th Dublin mini-marathon .

The event is the biggest of its kind in the world and raises millions of euro for charities.

The race was won by Pauline Curley from Tullamore Harriers with a winning time of 35.04.
