Gardaí have described the murder of a man who was shot dead outside his home in Dublin this morning as a 'callous act'.
He has been named as Patrick Harte, a 42-year-old father-of four.
He was shot three times as he sat in his car at Edenmore Avenue in Coolock after driving his children to school shortly after 9am.
It is thought he may have been followed and his movements monitored in recent days.
