There has been a robbery at the Ulster Bank branch in Edgeworthstown, Co Longford.
The bank was held up by two armed raiders just before 12 noon.
The men, who were wearing business clothes, were armed with a shotgun and a handgun.
They left with an undisclosed sum of money, in a Renault van which was later abandoned on the Ballymahon Road.
Gardaí are seeking assistance in locating a 2005 Dublin-registered Audi in which the raiders are believed to be travelling.
