Labour-led Govt achievable says Rabbitte

The Labour Party leader, Pat Rabbitte, has said a Labour-led Government is a realisable ambition.

The Labour Party leader, Pat Rabbitte, has said a Labour-led Government is a realisable ambition.

Mr Rabbitte observed that the current political circumstances provided a great opportunity for Labour to make a substantial breakthrough.

He added that the arrival of a Labour-led Government might require more than one election to achieve but it could be done.

Mr Rabbitte was speaking at a seminar to celebrate the life and work of the former Labour Party leader, Brendan Corish.
