The sentencing of a 22-year-old Limerick woman who admitted committing perjury at a murder trial in November 2003 has been adjourned until April.

The trial of Liam Keane collapsed after Amanda McNamara and two other witnesses denied that they had identified Keane as the killer of Eric Leamy.

Today at Limerick Circuit Court Ms McNamara said she was sorry and that she now realised the serious consequences of her actions.

The court heard that Ms McNamara had been intimidated by Liam Keane on a number of occasions.
