The furniture group, IKEA, has announced further details of its plans to open retail stores in Dublin and Belfast.
The company says up to 500 new jobs will be provided in Ballymun, half of which will be for local people.
It says it also intends to work with FÁS, Ballymun Regeneration Limited and partnership and job centre groups on training and upskilling programmes.
IKEA has not yet submitted a planning application to Fingal County Council for its new store in Ballymun.
But it says that, subject to planning permission, it hopes the store will open early next year.
IKEA plans for the Dublin store to cover more than 30,000 square metres over two floors. It will also have 1,500 car spaces and road access in the area will be improved before the shop opens.
The group has also announced that it is to open a shop in Belfast that will employ 400 people.
