Council to withold Dublin bin services

Dublin City Council has announced that, from Monday, it will not be collecting waste from householders who have not paid their domestic waste charges.

Dublin City Council has announced that, from Monday, it will not be collecting waste from householders who have not paid their domestic waste charges.

The policy will be introduced on two routes in Dublin and more routes will be added later.

Assistant City Manager Matt Twomey said the council had to be fair to all those who were paying charges.
