Flats searched in Belfast murder probe

Police investigating the murder of a teenage boy in Belfast last year have been searching vacant flats in the north of the city.

Police investigating the murder of a teenage boy in Belfast last year have been searching vacant flats in the north of the city.

The operation is part of an ongoing murder inquiry following the killing of 15-year-old Thomas Devlin who was stabbed to death last August.

The searches were carried out in the Mount Vernon area.

On Tuesday of this week police conducted searches in the same area and took away some items for examination.

Thomas was attacked as he walked along Somerton Road with two friends on 10 August 2005. He was stabbed five times in the back.
