The family of 11-year-old Robert Holohan have attended a Mass in Midleton to mark the first anniversary of his death.
Several hundred people attended the Mass at the Most Holy Rosary Church.
Gardaí who led the investigation into his disappearance and death, and many of those who took part in the search, were also in attendance.
Robert Holohan's disappearance from his home in January of last year led to one of the biggest searches ever in this country for a missing person.
The 11-year-old was found murdered close to his home in Co Cork.
