Six people have been wounded in knife attacks in Dublin, Limerick and Antrim.
A man is in a critical condition after being stabbed in the chest at a hotel near Croke Park overnight. The man in his 20s was taken to the Mater Hospital following the stabbing where he is in intensive care following surgery.
In Newcastlewest, four people were wounded during a row involving at least five people.
In Ballymena in Co Antrim, a 36-year-old man was admitted to hospital after being stabbed in the back following a fight on a garage forecourt on the North Road. His condition is described as stable. Two men are being questioned in relation to the incident.
