The Channel Tunnel has been closed because of snow in southeast England.
The Channel Tunnel has been closed because of snow in southeast England.
The main road between London and Dover has also been affected by snowfalls of up to 12 centimetres.
Police are warning drivers not to travel in parts of northern and southeastern England, unless absolutely necessary.
Freezing temperatures and further snowfalls are expected to cause hazardous driving conditions in much of the country until Friday.
