Detention order on vessel lifted

Irish Ferries has confirmed that the detention order on its vessel, MV Normandy, has been lifted.

The lifting follows an inspection by Department of the Marine officials at Rosslare Harbour this morning.

The vessel will resume scheduled sailings following the Christmas break and will depart for Cherbourg on Tuesday, 27 December.
