The doctors treating former Manchester United star George Best have said his condition has improved slightly.
The former Northern Ireland footballer is not yet fully conscious but has responded to members of his family.
Professor Roger Williams told reporters that Best might be able to come off a ventilator tomorrow.
Mr Best, who is 59, has been in intensive care in London's Cromwell Hospital since Friday after contracting a lung infection.
He was first admitted to the hospital on 1 October.
