A woman who was injured while climbing Croagh Patrick in Co Mayo his evening is being airlifted to hospital.
A woman who was injured while climbing Croagh Patrick in Co Mayo his evening is being airlifted to hospital.
The woman, who is reported to have sustained serious facial injuries, was close to the summit of the 2,500-foot high mountain when the accident occurred.
The Sligo-based Coast Guard helicopter flew to the scene and is now taking her to Mayo General Hospital in Castlebar.
