Residents close to Dublin's €300m wastewater treatment plant have complained of further foul odours eminating from the facility tonight.

Dublin City Council recently engaged a team of US experts to assist in trying to eliminate this long running problem.

Last month, the Green Party Chairman and local TD, John Gormley, renewed calls for Environment Minister Dick Roche to urgently initiate an investigation into the Ringsend plant.

His call followed an earlier weekend of bad odours.
