Three people are still missing after a Tunisian passenger plane made an emergency landing in the sea off the Italian island of Sicily.

Three people are still missing after a Tunisian passenger plane made an emergency landing in the sea off the Italian island of Sicily.

At least 13 people were killed in the accident. Earlier reports had put the number at 14.

There were 39 passengers and crew on board the plane operated by a subsidiary of Tunisair, Tuninter.

23 people have been rescued, with many of them seriously injured.
