A 26-yr-old motorist died this morning following a collision with a school bus in Co Armagh in which seven children were injured.
The man died in hospital several hours after being critically injured in the crash on the Tandragee Road on the outskirts on Newry.
The secondary school children, and their bus driver, needed hospital treatment for what police described as mainly minor injuries.
They were on their way to classes at the city's St Colman's College when the accident occurred near Drumbanagher Forest.
Fire and Rescue Service officer, Michael McAteer, said the bus driver had done well to ensure the children's injuries were not more serious.
The man who died has not yet been named.
