The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dermot Ahern, is to brief the United Nations Secretary General, Kofi Annan, on the ongoing efforts to secure agreement on reforms of the UN tomorrow.
The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dermot Ahern, is to brief the United Nations Secretary General, Kofi Annan, on the ongoing efforts to secure agreement on reforms of the UN tomorrow.
Earlier, Mr Ahern expressed concerns about what he called a clandestine black market in nuclear materials and technology.
He was speaking at the UN Headquarters in New York in an address to the Review Conference on the Treaty on Non Proliferation of Nucler Weapons.
