Catholic cardinals are turning their attention to who the next Pope will be, a day after the burial of Pope John Paul II in Rome.
Although the conclave will not begin the election until 18 April, the 117 cardinals will take part in informal daily meetings before then.
The Church has begun nine days of mourning for Pope John Paul, with a daily mass at St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican.
Meanwhile, the Vatican has said that the crypt where the Pope was buried will remain closed until at least Monday, in an attempt to deter some of the millions of people who paralysed Rome in the past days from lingering in the city.
