Showjumper Jessica Kuerten has issued a statement to say that the B test on her mare Libertina has come back negative.
She had faced a small fine for the original failed drugs test at a show in Calgary, Canada.
The mare had tested positive for minute amounts of caffeine and theophylline, which are categorised as the lowest grade and unlikely to enhance the horse's performance.
Kuerten blamed the positive test on feed provided at the show, saying the substances could occur naturally, and decided to ask for the B sample to be tested.
She is now awaiting confirmation from the sport's international governing body, the FEI, that the case has been dismissed.
