Bank of Ireland is expected to announce next week that it plans to cut its workforce in Ireland by more than 15%.

Bank of Ireland is expected to announce next week that it plans to cut its workforce in Ireland by more than 15%.

It is thought that up to 2,000 of the Bank's 12,000 employees in Ireland will lose their jobs as part of a cost-cutting plan.

The job cuts are expected to take place over a period of three years.
