Man quizzed over Coalisland death

A 42-year-old man is being questioned by police in Northern Ireland in connection with the murder of a pensioner and a sexual assault on his elderly sister last December.

76-year-old Patrick McGrath was found dead at his home near Coalisland, Co Tyrone.

His sister Philomena, 67, was sexually assaulted and beaten.

The man was arrested last night on suspicion of murder, attempted murder and serious sexual assault.
