Iraq's interim government has announced that a half-brother and one-time aide to former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein has been captured. It is reported that Syria aided the capture.
It has accused Sabawi Ibrahim al-Hasan of planning and carrying out terrorist acts. He is number 36 on the list of Iraq's 55 most wanted, which compiled by US Intelligence. The US military was also offering a $1m reward for him.
Meanwhile, at least 13 people were killed in four separate incidents in Iraq. They included five Iraqi policemen, three US soldiers and five others.
