US President George W Bush has said the US and Europe can overcome their differences and move forward together.
Speaking in a series of interviews ahead of his trip to Europe, which begins tomorrow in Brussels, Mr Bush stressed his commitment to fostering stronger Trans-Atlantic relationships.
However, he rejected the European idea that NATO needed to be over-hauled.
The US President said NATO is vital and has worked in the past and will work in the future, so long as there is strong commitment to it.
