Detectives investigating the Omagh bombing have tonight charged a 34-year-old man from Dundalk with providing property for the use of terrorists.

The charges relate to the provision of a maroon-coloured Vauxhall Cavalier between 11 and 16 August 1998.

The man is expected to appear before court in Enniskillen tomorrow morning.

It is understood that a similar coloured vehicle was used to detonate the bomb that claimed the lives of 29 people including a woman pregnant with twins.
