Eight people have been killed in an explosion in the central Spanish city of Burgos.
Eight people have been killed in an explosion in the central Spanish city of Burgos.
The explosion killed six Spaniards and one Moroccan instantly, while an eighth person of unknown nationality died later in hospital.
Four others were injured, and one is in a critical condition.
The explosion happened around at 8.30am in the basement of a warehouse belonging to a construction company. The blast is thought to have occurred when workers were handling a jerry can with fuel.
