Nurses report rise in patients on trolleys

The Irish Nurses' Organisation has reported an increase in the number of patients on trolleys awaiting admission to hospital.

The INO says that there are 221 patients awaiting admission to Accident & Emergency departments today.

147 of these are in the Dublin area, with Tallaght, Beaumont and the Mater Hospitals said to be under the most pressure.
