Solicitor remanded over child pornography
Friday, 29 October 2004 18:48A Dublin solicitor facing charges of possessing child pornography has been remanded on continuing bail at Dublin District Court.
Eugene Fanning, of Ailesbury Road in Ballsbridge, is charged with possessing material contrary to the Child Trafficking and Pornography Act.
Today a solicitor for the accused told the court that he was awaiting a technical report on the issue of jurisdiction.

A lawyer for the State agreed to an adjournment and the case will come up for mention again in Dublin District Court in February.
