Workers who are about to lose their jobs with the closure of the UNIFI company in Letterkenny at the end of October, have accused the company of bullying and blackmail.
They say it withdrew a 2% increase on its original redundancy package when workers rejected it.
The company has threatened to withdraw all offers over the statutory rates if industrial action is called.
In a letter to SIPTU, UNIFI indicated it would refuse any request to go to the Labour Court.
In an unsigned statement, some workers at UNIFI told Highland Radio News that they believe the revised package was an insult to their commitment since the last round of redundancies.
They say asset sales will net the company tens of millions of euro, but still they are being offered a paltry increase on a take it or leave it basis.
