Durkan accuses Blair of breaking pledges

The SDLP leader, Mark Durkan, has accused the British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, of breaking pledges over the issue of security force collusion with loyalist paramilitaries.

The SDLP leader, Mark Durkan, has accused the British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, of breaking pledges over the issue of security force collusion with loyalist paramilitaries.

In an interview with BBC Radio, Mr Durkan said the inquiry into the murder of the Belfast solicitor, Pat Finucane, did not fulfil the pledges made to his party at Weston Park three years ago.
