The US and British embassies in Iraq have confirmed that gunmen have kidnapped two Americans and one British national from a house in central Baghdad.
The three men, who work at a building-contracting firm based in the United Arab Emirates, were abducted from their home in the upmarket neighbourhood of Mansur.
The kidnappings are the latest in a six-month campaign of abductions of foreigners in Iraq.
Earlier, the Iraqi interior ministry had announced the abduction, but both US and British embassies had said they were still seeking confirmation.
