Talks continuing at Waterford Crystal

Talks are to continue tomorrow in Waterford in relation to an industrial disagreement at Waterford Crystal.

Talks are to continue tomorrow in Waterford in relation to an industrial disagreement at Waterford Crystal.

Discussions were adjourned this evening between management and unions over a controversial cost cutting plan at the company.

Management at Waterford Crystal want staff to take seven weeks unpaid leave between now and March. 

Staff have voted to reject the proposals.

Meetings between both parties began on Friday and were adjourned until today. 

However, following this afternoons talks, no conclusion was reached and the groups will meet again tomorrow.
