Gardaí in Dublin have uncovered what they believe to be a highly sophisticated counterfeiting operation at a flat in Harold's Cross.
Detectives from Terenure raided the flat at around 3pm this afternoon.
They found a large number of false passports from a number of different countries. They also found forged drivers licenses, false ID, cards, stamps and at least €5,000 in cash.
They also seized counterfeiting computer equipment including printers, scanners and a laminating machine.
A 42-year-old foreign national, whose is believed to be of French Algerian origin, has been arrested for questioning under the Theft and Fraud Act.
