Thirteen men have been arrested in a series of anti-terrorism raids across England.

Thirteen men have been arrested in a series of anti-terrorism raids across England.

Police arrested the men, all aged in their 20s and 30s, this afternoon and evening in a planned operation.

They are being held on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism under the Terrorism Act 2000.

The arrests were made in Northwest London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Lancashire.
