The High Court has directed that the Inspector's Report into the affairs of National Irish Bank should be published in full.

The High Court has directed that the Inspector's Report into the affairs of National Irish Bank should be published in full.

It is now expected that the report will be made available from the Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement from 10am next Friday, 30 July.

The only bodies which will receive immediate copies of the report are the Central Bank and the Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority.

Mr Justice Peter Kelly said the inspectors had made findings against a substantial number of senior bank personnel who carried or shared responsibility for the activities investigated.

The bank estimates that its commitment to addressing the issues identified will run to €64 million.

The judge also ordered that the Inspector's costs and the legal costs involved in the preparation and production of the report be borne by National Irish Bank.
