Gardaí in Co Meath are still treating as suspicious the death of a man found on a roadside near Dunboyne yesterday evening.
A post mortem examination was carried out on the man's remains this afternoon, but gardaí said they are not releasing the findings for operational reasons.
The identity of the man, who is thought to have been in his early 30s, is still not known.
The body was found beside a quiet country road with severe injuries to the head and one arm.
Gardaí believe he had been killed somewhere else and his body had been dumped at the scene.
They have not ruled out the possibility that he may have been a foreign national.
