The latest opinion poll, to be published in tomorrow's Sunday Independent, contains good news for Fine Gael and the Greens, with both parties and their leaders showing increases in support.
But while the Government and the Taoiseach enjoy increased support, Fianna Fáil has failed to improve its position in recent months.
Satisfaction with the Government, at 35%, is up 9 points in five months, while dissatisfaction is down ten points at 61%. Support for Fianna Fáil remains at 35%.
Fine Gael, at 21%, is up two, while Labour, at 12% is down 1.
The PDs, at 3%, are also down 1, while the Greens benefit from their party conference last weekend, rising two points to 7%. Sinn Féin remains unchanged at 10% despite recent attacks on the party, while Others, at 12%, are down 1.
In terms of satisfaction with the party leaders, Bertie Ahern records a big increase, up nine points to 43%; while Tánaiste Mary Harney is also up, by five points to 45%.
Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny will be pleased with his 8% increase, although satisfaction with him remains at just 32%, while Pat Rabbitte is up one at 46%.
Trevor Sargent, again benefiting from exposure at his party conference, is up a massive 16 points at 42%, and while satisfaction with Gerry Adams is down three points, he retains the highest satisfaction rating, of 50%.
