Cargo plane is seized in Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe has seized a US-registered cargo plane with 64 suspected mercenaries of various nationalities on board.

The plane was also carrying a cargo of what is described as military material.

Home Affairs Minister Kembo Mohadi said the cargo plane had been detained in the capital Harare last night.

Its owners made a false declaration of its cargo and crew.
