Galway County Council has said that work to clean up a 2,000 gallon oil spill in Casla Bay in Connemara will begin tomorrow morning.
The Council said its investigation is continuing and the costs of the clean-up will be borne by the polluter.
The oil leak was first noticed on Thursday and is believed to come from a factory located at Casla Industrial Estate, run by on Udarás na Gaeltachta.
