Al Hilla Suicide bomb
Seven Iraqis have been killed in a suicide bomb blast in Iraq. The incident happened at a military base in the central city of Al Hilla, south of Baghdad.
At least 28 Iraqis and 17 coalition troops were among the injured. They included Filipino and Polish soldiers, a Hungarian and an American.
Officials say one vehicle exploded close to a cement barrier near the base. A second car bomb failed to explode. Troops are reported to have shot the driver dead.
