The body of Archbishop Michael Courtney, who was murdered in central Africa last Monday, has been brought to the parish church in his home town of Nenagh, Co Tipperary.
The Minister for Finance of the central African state of Burundi, Athanase Gahungu, will attend tomorrow's funeral mass there.
Archbishop Courtney was the Papal Nuncio to Burundi. He died after being shot in an ambush thought to have been mounted by anti-government rebels.
Cardinal Desmond Connell and the Taoiseach attended a prayer service for the late Archbishop at Dublin Airport today.
