Spain Police hunt for ETA bomb
Two days after thwarting a potentially devastating bomb attack on a crowded Madrid train station, police said two suspects arrested over that bomb plot had told officers about the device on a railtrack in the northeastern province of Zaragoza.
The suspects, said to be members of the Basque separatist organization ETA, were also accused of planting another bomb on a railtrack in Zaragoza last Tuesday, which damaged a train but caused no casualties.
Bomb disposal experts focused their search on an eight-kilometer stretch of track about 80 kilometers southeast of the city of Zaragoza where they expected to find the device.
