Man charged over Istanbul bombings

A man has been charged in Turkey in relation to the recent bombings of synagogues in the city of Istanbul and of attempting to overthrow the constitution of the country.

The suspect has been taken to the scene of one of the bombings at the Beth Israel synagogue.

Although Turkish police have not revealed the identity of the man, witnesses at the scene described him as a bearded man in his 20s.
