Airport security kills two - Philippines

Security forces in the Philippines have shot dead an ex-aviation chief and one of his men after they took over control a tower at the country's busiest airport.

Security forces in the Philippines have shot dead a former aviation chief and one of his men after they took over a control tower at the country's busiest airport.

The siege ended when police used explosives to blast open the door and shot both men dead.

Police say they were armed with handguns, a grenade and other explosive devices.
