Crowds gather for Bali anniversary service

Hundreds of survivors and relatives of victims of the Bali bombings have been gathering there for a first-anniversary service to be held on Sunday.

Hundreds of survivors and relatives of victims of the Bali bombings have been gathering there for a first-anniversary service to be held on Sunday.

Most of those attending have come from Australia, which lost 88 citizens in the attack.

The service will be led by Australian Prime Minister John Howard.

202 people from 20 countries died in the Bali nightclub bombings on 12 October 2002.
