Minister asked to investigate NCT test

Minister of State Jim McDaid has been asked to investigate a rising failure rate in the NCT test.

All vehicles of four years and over must undergo the roadworthiness check.

Motorists have been complaining that the test is becoming stricter and cars are being failed for trivial reasons.
