Police in Colombia say eight foreign tourists have been kidnapped by suspected members of the left-wing guerrilla group, FARC.

The group is believed to include four Israelis, two Britons, a German and a Spaniard.
Thousands of troops have been mobilised to search for the missing tourists in the high mountains of the Sierra Nevada, over 450 miles north of the capital, Bogota.
