Plans to deport thousands of immigrant parents of Irishborn children are expected to face a raft of legal challenges.

There were chaotic scenes today at a meeting in Dublin to try to inform families of their current status.

Up to 11,000 people, most of them children, face deportation arising from a Supreme Court ruling at the start of the year.
